Welcome to School of Oriental Languages and Cultures
We are an exclusive Oriental Languages and Cultures Center that was established in 2010 year in the heart of Kyiv. We provide all kinds of educational programs involving both communication as well as grammar skills.
Foundation of the School
The school was founded in 2010 by Svitlana Valeriivna Tamkova, who has been teaching Japanese since 1998. She has repeatedly completed both long-term and short-term training programs in Japan, focusing specifically on methodology and the study of linguistic and cultural aspects. This experience has been incorporated into the educational process of our school.
Our Team
Our team of teachers are highly skilled and experienced and we do enjoy the right blend of both local and international teachers.
We teach not only languages, but oriental arts which are the essential tools of different nations and an understanding of their set of mind and more importantly their way of life in each one of the Oriental countries.
Cultural Exchange
In addition to teaching different Oriental languages, our main goal is to spread cultural understanding and projects in different cultural aspects in a positive light to increase the holistic understanding and harmony between people of different nations and linguistic backgrounds in our world.
Therefore, we introduce various events, conversation clubs, master classes, lectures and meetings.
Teaching Ukrainian to representatives of Eastern countries
We offer the study of the Ukrainian language to representatives of Eastern countries to teachers who speak their native language.
Study abroad program
We as an institute have been very dynamic and result-oriented, we have in our past recommended and supported our students to go for more intensive language learning in various oriental languages in schools and universities of some of the Oriental countries.
